The Healing Waters of Manitou

Just like the Dead Sea. Experience weightlessness in the naturally buoyant mineral waters. There are other salt lakes in the world but this is truly a unique experience. The water has a specific gravity 10% higher than regular water. Its specific gravity is even higher than the Dead Sea and it is also rich in minerals. Many claim the unique properties of the water have curative powers for several different skin conditions as well as muscle and joint pain. The mineral water is also very cleansing and detoxifying.

The ancient First Nations tribes named this place Manitou, meaning God, because they believed it came from the Great Spirit. The Medicine Men firmly believed in its healing abilities and several different warring tribes would bring their sick to be cured. This is the only body of water of its kind in North America.
